The purposes of the processing
The Law Office processes your personal data in order to:
- provide proper legal assistance (in particular to perform a contract or to take action, upon request, prior to conclusion of a contract),
- fulfil obligations arising from legal provisions and
- pursue claims that are of the legitimate interest of the Law Office.
Providing data is voluntary. However, if you do not provide your personal data, the implementation of the above-mentioned purposes will not be possible.
The legal basis for the processing
The legal basis for the processing of personal data is Art. 6 point 1 lit. b) and lit. c) and f) of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46 / EC (hereinafter: GDPR).
The categories of recipients of the personal data
The recipients of your personal data may be employees and associates of the Law Office, IT service providers, entities providing hosting services and electronic mail, entities dealing with correspondence, entities providing accounting services, entities providing tax services, cooperating law offices, and other procedural parties.
The period of storage
The Law Office stores your personal data for a period necessary to provide legal assistance, duration of a contract and for a period after its termination resulting from legal provisions, as well as for a period necessary to protect rights and pursue claims (limitation period).
The right to access, rectify and/or erase personal data, to restrict processing, and the right to object and lodge a complaint
You have the right to request from the Law Office access to, rectification and/or erasure of your personal data, restriction of processing, and the right to object to processing, subject to Article 16a of the Advocates’ Profession Act of May 26, 1982, as well as the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
